I-Jeng Yeh

I-Jeng Yeh, born in Taiwan, received her Doctoral degree in flute performance from Indiana University. While in Indiana University, she studied with Kathryn Lukas and served as an associate instructor of flute. I-Jeng was a first prize winner in the open category of the Twelfth Annual Competition in the Performance of Music from Spain and Latin America (2009). She serves in the Camerata Orchestra (Indiana) and Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra, and was principal flute in the IU New Music Ensemble from 2006 to 2008, performing on its tour to the East Coast in 2007.  Since 2012, I-Jeng has been appointed as principal flute in National Centre for the Performing Arts Orchestra in Beijing, China. She has worked with world famous conductors, including Lorin Maazel, Christoph Eschenbach, Valery Gergiev…etc.
